UK has beat them 4 times in the regular season over the past 2 years. But they went further than us in the tournament. Beating us last year in the sweet 16. That makes it worse for me.
And them getting guys that we wanted here in ament & Gillespie then Laniar last year, they can matchup size wise with Michigan.
Everywhere you look you see guys that Pope and Co. whiffed on
The vols have now reached their ceiling. Impressive to make three consecutive elite eights, but the journey ends here.
May be true but we can’t deny they’ve had more recent tourney success than we have. That needs to change.

Making the E8 really doesn’t mean **** if you don’t win and go on to the F4. UT men’s basketball has never been to a F4. Barnes has only been to one F4 his entire career and that was Texas in 2003. Hopefully Michigan takes care of business tomorrow.

They've won more tourney games in three years than we have won since 2018.

I didn’t see a 1/10th of the defense from ISU last night that they showed us. We just didn’t have the plan to attack it.
We don’t have to use “what have we done lately” to make fun of UT. That’s the point. They have to go to the Final Four 17 times in a row to tie us. Over the last 3 years, UT at its absolute peak is 2-5 against the Cats on one of our worst down periods in 70 years.
Forgive me for not being envious of three elite 8s.
Keep livin’ in the past. Nobody gives a rats arse about what we did 10, 15, 20,50 or 75 years ago.
Fortunately for UT, they do not live in the past. They live in the now and, right now they are doing great. 3 consecutive final eights is obviously not a championship or, even a final four but it keeps them relevant. Very relevant . We have a great basketball history but we can't keep trying to live off of that. No one gives a **** except UK people.
We have to reestablish our position from just a few years ago. UK Basketball is in a fragile, fragile damn state right now and needs strong talented leadership, not Goofy or Dork mentality. I have to say that I just don't see it getting much better at the moment. Barnhart and Pope are both 60% winners at best.

Not that I disagree but you are ignoring the 2019 UK team. That was after the 2017 Fox team. We have sucked the last 6 seasons though. No argument.
Kentucky basketball has always been the gold standard of SEC basketball. UT fans like myself really appreciate the rivalry, so it sucks to see one of the more knowledgeable fan bases dogging the **** out of us. FF or not, I’m proud of this team and they have represented the SEC well.

It might stem from UT fans always being so nasty. You guys have dominated us in football for forever, but still come over after as often as possible during football season to be jerks. Maybe not you, but a lot of your brethren do.

We've been in a few serious slumps and we've always come shining out of them. Let me explain something to you scott:
Fellow SEC programs have done absolutely nothing but cheer lustily against Kentucky for freaking decades when time after time we were the last SEC team standing in the tournament and playing for a FF or NC. Their fans will openly and loudly sit in-person, live in an arena and cheer against Kentucky in support of any team outside the SEC.
Tennessee fans as a whole are some of the worst, loudmouthed and rudest people I’ve ever met in person. That’s the truth. For those reasons, scott - I sincerely hope UT loses their next game, and I sincerely hope it hurts you personally and intensely along with everyone you know and even your family pets. Yes scott - your family pets…I hope it saddens them deeply.
