RIP for sure but we weren't going anywhere with or without him, that whole group was just a bunch of individual players.

That might have caused more volume on this website than even some Final 4 wins. I remember when the news broke, I believe it was late.. and a few posters got wind that he was in an accident, and it quickly turned to the worst outcome that he didnt make it. And this place was just in shock. Absolute shock. Everyone was signed on it seemed, just in disbelief. Not that this is different than if ANY kid dies.. but it is few and far between that a star college player for a big program passes away unexpectedly.. its like, Len Bias.. and.. that's all I got. Its just that rare. Just shook the sport to its core. It was hard to even fathom.

RIP Terrence Clark.

I do not wish to disrespect the departed but he only played 8 games averaging 9.6 pts and 2.6 rebs. I just don't see how he turns what was probably our worst team in history into a deep tournament run.

He was one of the most hated players in UK history until he died. He was Sharpe before Sharpe. Even Cal was calling him out about all the X-rays coming back normal and him still not playing. He was probably the only injury that Cal reacted to in his 15 year career.
It is sad and terrible that he died, but the fan base and message boards were crucifying him all season long.

That was just a joyless season all around. Covid, the record. every star player we recruited under delivered outside the one bright spot of Davion Mintz and Isiah Jackson. Seemed like we lost more 3-5 point games than any season I can ever recall. We expected Boston and Clarke to be a dynamic duo and they both weren’t ready in year one. That said it was tough to see it end with his death when he had a bright future. RIP TC.

Yeah, unfortunately the wreck was from driving too fast and reckless on a city street.

I was not a farr Cal guy until his final year. But I said out loud a number of times that even the ball boy could have coached that Sarr/Clarke/Boston team and got more wins than Cal did that year.
