K has the refs in his pocket, but it didn't help in this game--those refs will get a stern message from the ACC office!

The refs let the game get away from them so they didn't kick in help Duke more mode until there wasn't time to allow Duke to recover. They needed the crew in Cameron during the UNC game to show them how to pull it off.

There were actually two more wrong calls. Besides Okafor bulldozing in, on the offensive side late ND twice had offensive calls that were terrible. The first one the Dukie guard just shouldered into the screener, and then back flopped right in front on the official and they called it on ND and they lost the possession. Then about two plays later a ND guard is running around screens and is being held by the Dukie guard. As the ND player is trying to get away he raises his hand and is called for a foul as the Sukie makes like he was fouled and thus anotherND possession is solen.

Both of those calls were just terrible.

Zebras called a foul on Grant trying to get away from Cook at the end of the game. Cook was grabbing him around a screen and grant gets the foul. JO gets an 1 w/ a foul on Auguste. Auguste just stood his ground and Jo rammed him. The very next play down the court Grant gets a shot over Winslow with contact and no foul. Commentators say winslow went up vertical.
This kind of ACC homerism is going to hurt dook in the tournament. Nuetral floor with another conference referee group is going to hurt them when they don't get these calls.

Any good coach in America should instruct the refs on Okafor initiating the contact before the game and remind them at half time. JO would be fouled out. GBB
