#7 Texas had to struggle to beat a terrible 4-7 Stanford team, 72-62.

Teddy Allen – Teddy Buckets at WVU – had 15 points, same as Rice from the bench. Carr was top starter with 17.

Longhorns only up 7 with 1 minute left. But bumbling Stanford missed every shot after that and Texas made only 3 points during that stretch.

This won’t help the Texas ranking.

Of course I’m more interested in what WVU will do against 5-5 Buffalo, starting at 5 p.m. on ESPN+

Sure hope Huggins’ Henchmen perform better than Texas did against a so-so team.
