Well, I lived in Dallas for the last 12 years. I live in Los Angeles now, but it's still my directive to go every year. Fly in Friday night and leave Sunday night.

What!!! How can you skip out on the LA fair in Pomona. I love that fair as well.

Was planning on going this year with the wife for the first time. She had hip surgery about a month ago, so don't think she is quite strong enough to make a fair on her feet all day. May have to wait till next year.

If she's hurting, she's not having any fun. That means you aren't having any fun. Probably wiser to hold off until next year to give her more time to heal and build her strength.

Doesn't suck to be retired at 56. Good job.
39 and wishing I was retired. Why can't we all be born independently wealthy?
