I had to miss the game as I was driving home from my nephew’s wedding in Des Moines. I’m usually at the home games and watching the road games on TV so I don’t hear the radio broadcast often. But today I needed Mr. Cat and the “Founding Father of Northwestern Basketball” to bring me home. They had me feeling as if I were in the arena. It was my best drive on I-80 since I listened to the Notre Dame Radio Network on the Pennsylvania Turnpike on the first Saturday in September 1995.

Nice post, PURPLECAT. Dave Eanet is FABULOUS; we're fortunate to have him at the mic - football AND basketball.
