Anyone have dirt on him? Can’t he use his super senior card, or? I’ve lost track of the years. C’mon Mr. Craft, pay him $7.5 million to do some coal commercials!

One of the best I’ve seen at UK. Not the fastest, not the prototype running back but if I had a box of hand grenades that I needed to get to the other side of the line against the Germans, he’s my guy. Punishing runner, he gets stronger as the game progresses. Some NFL team is going to get a big surprise the first time they handoff to him. Will be a big hole to fill next year for sure.

I wish we had another punishing runner like CRod and Benny in-waiting to take over, but unfortunately, I don't see anyone in that mold on the roster or in this recruiting class. Our running game is going to look a lot different next season.
Hell....barring a portal kid....it's going to be a disaster running the ball next year with this locker room.

- Lavell Wright not taking the job early and being the main backup when CROd came back was a massive downer. He was the one talent I thought could be the next guy. If in his 2nd year he couldn't show more than he did...not very confident it's going to show up ever. RB pretty much show who they are early in career.

- Maybe Ramone Jefferson is a good back and he comes back off injury. He has zero NFL prospects and he came to UK to at least play on this level. I bet he's back and we'll see if he can tote the rock as legit SEC RB>

It is the right time for CRod to give the NFL a try. In my mind, the interesting question is if CRod's skill set will translate to the NFL better than Benny and Boom did. He might.

Think he's a more willing blocker in pass pro than benny which will help but still lacks the speed which will make thing difficult for him

Yes, definitely quicker but still not quite top level nfl starter quick, I don't think.
And yet many NFL starters have had the build and skills of CRod. His durability is a plus. It just depends on who drafts him, the offensive philosophy and returning roster, and how good the offensive line is.
