Butler fought all season and I'll miss him. Honestly the others I am fine with leaving.
Although the ending is not perfect, still grateful for the contributions from these seniors for making turnaround of our program

I admire Butler for his desire while playing hurt and the only one who shouldn't feel ashamed for his effort tonight.
I don't want to get too negative here and start an argument, but I'll miss them all. They all had an extremely tough job of injecting energy into the program again while dealing with high expectations in an environment they had not idea about. Many of them from mid majors who were basically goldfish that got thrown into an ocean.
Jaxson and Carr toughed it out while injured until they couldn't anymore. Amari improved tremendously throughout the year. Almenor was never going to be anything more then a bench piece and won us a game or two with some very timely shooting. Brea went from the sixth man at a mid major to probably single handedly beating Tennessee the second time after Butler went out. Kriisa brough energy every day from the bench.
I definitely wish we could run it back with this group if they all had another year.
Damn even Jaxson? He was playing pretty good ball before he broke his wrist or whatever the injury is

I just don't agree with this at all. Saying this team didn't play hard tonight is just an easy cop out because you can't pinpoint exactly why we got run off the court. UT's defensive game plan was perfect and we couldn't even get open shots. They're one of the best rebounding teams in the country, so us getting out-rebounded wasn't a lack of effort.
They're the better team. They were the better team all year long and we overachieved in beating them both times. The second time it took a few crazy bailout 3s from Brea.
They all blamed for the name on the jersey. Not one had both feet out the door ready for the NBA like Cals players

I expect UK to be a program that always has a good core group of returning guys. I hope we hear soon that Oweh, Garrison and all 3 Freshmen are returning.

Tennessee getting everything they want at the rim. Williams and others just standing around watching it happen. Yes, I'll applaud that effort all day long here. Zinging the ball all over the place carelessly. Effort goes a long way in defense and rebounding. What a crock of ****.
I was unaware UT was a team of talented freshmen. You know basically everyone they play is a senior or super senior too, right?
Brea would break his defender down off the dribble and get to the rim or get open mid range shots constantly throughout the last third of the year.
Made a nearly impossible situation this season one of the most enjoyable in a LONG time!!!

Butler will be one of my favorite all time Kentucky players, I wish we got a second year of him for sure

isn't he the negative one on the threads. maybe im confusing someone with the over negative thoughts. Not appreciating seniors from mid major schools getting us to the sweet 16 on a different team, is suspect though.

This group has made me enjoy Kentucky Basketball again. Memorable bunch of guys for me. They loved it here, played hurt, & fought, and I love them for it.
