Traditional food: turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, dirty rice (household favorite)' veggies, pies and lots of gravey. Eat at one, run the in-laws out by two and off to the hunting camp by three.
The bar I go to always has a Thanksgiving shared dinner. My wife makes Tabuoli. Don't ask me why, that's just what's expected. Christmas dinner is different, family and all. And lot's of good gravy................HA!
Traditional turkey dinner including cornbread dressing but this year I'm smoking a ham too.
Well, I've always wanted to do this so, got a 53 buck prime rib roast complete with ribs.
I'm still reeling from paying that much by the way...
At any rate...gonna do an oven roast thing with it. Got the horseradish, a few veggies and potatoes.
I think it will be delectable, with a wet red wine to wash it down.
Cheesecake for desert.

Got 2 turkeys in the fridge thawing, already made the dressing and put it in the freezer, gonna make 3 lemon icebox pies wednesday and head to the Family get together Thursday. I usually smoke a turkey and spiral ham in the smoker but don't feel the urge this year so the oven it is! Will be about 10 lbs heavier this time next week
