This team has played hard all year and had some heartbreaking losses. So happy to see them play a great second half and close one out. They deserved this one.

Especially on senior day.
Have to like the momentum heading into the BTT. Hoping for a victory or two to set up a positive team mindset for next season.
Great game. Great finish. Small but spirited crowd.
Really impressed with Bouie bouncing back from a poor 1st half to help close out the game.
As has been pointed out on this board. it's hard to win in college basketball when you don't hit 3's. Kopp is a great shooter and lots of other guys chipped in from outside today. I am fine with Nance shooting 3's as long as he is open and in rhythm. Beran needs to shoot more 3's. He doesn't have a lot to offer offensively otherwise yet. When he gets stronger, he will be able to finish on more of his drives and take advantage of mismatches down low. Spencer is such a unique player. A smallish guard that is more comfortable posting up than shooting 3's. He missed a lot of shots but had some really nice finds today. Young had another Young type game. Hitting his free throws was huge. He's gotten a lot better at the line and that is huge given his troubles finishing shots. He's going to get fouled a lot down low because he's not explosive and his shots are almost always contested. Look forward to Nance, Beran and Young getting bigger and stronger next year and adding some more 3-point shooters. Let's upset Minnesota and build on these last few games.

Not a small crowd at all. Over 6,000 was announced attendance and it looked like it. Student sections were pretty full and lots of kids. Late afternoon start times on weekends seem to draw really well. Fun atmosphere and the team fed off it. Even the Wilson section seemed more full than other games and the seats next to me were occupied for the first time all year by Cats fans (I assume they were sold for the year, but not used?)
Not sure if they showed it on tv, but it was so fun to see Benson, Pardon showing their excitement-it felt like they were part of the team. They also threw out t shirts to the crowd.
Students showed up late, I’m not sure what they were doing earlier - when the game started both sides were very empty.
Newspapers list crowd at 6,600. Heard that the library was crowded earlier in the day. After all it is NU.

at to be there. Still had some dumb plays down the stretch that could have cost us but they were able to overcome. Kopp's 3 point shot with about 25 on shot clock. Cross court pass out of bounds. In other games this year those mistakes would have cost us but not Sat., thank goodness. Hitting most of our FTs sure helped
