I've been watching the excellent HBO series "Hard Knocks (In Season)" and had never before seen their head coach, Mike McDaniel. I saw a guy walking around the field shouting and wondered: "why is the IT guy out there?" Then, I thought, "When did Nick Kroll give up comedy?" McDaniel certainly doesn't fit the stereotype of the big, gruff NFL coach. He certainly seems like an interesting character, though. And he relates well to the players.

If I saw him on the street I would never guess his occupation. Math professor maybe but not NFL football coach. Just shows you how looks can be deceptive.
