After today, the Tards will have lost to all three of the best teams they've played, two of which have been at home. Teams as offensively challenged as they are do not compete for the title.

I've said from the start and even some people on this board Wouldn't hear it

Louisville is a borderline top 25 team.

Probably true. Outside of their top 4 guys, their players are all really lame. And then inside their top 4, well their players are pretty lame there too outside of rozier

They are offensively inept. Playing good defense is a plus, but you still have to score to compete at the upper level. They can't do it consistently.

At least in the four years that blackshear (5 star mcdonalds all american, voted chicago player of the year over anthony davis) has been there, pitino has molded him into a big time player. Right?

I generally like DeCourcy, but between the end of the Louisville game and the beginning of the Kentucky game, I was going back and forth with him on Twitter aboutHarrell being the most overrated player in the nation. He was making every excuse in the world for Harrell, but the facts speak for themselves:

Against UK, UNC and Duke, he has a combined 28 points on 12-29 shooting. Decourcy was making every excuse Ito defend Harrrell..:but the facts are there.

I have been telling anyone that would listen that UL and Ohio St. is overrated. They both proved it today.

i have been with ya on that one

i said earlier that we would see their ranking drop almost every week

i don't think they get a top 25 win this year (going by end of the year rankings)

I hope Miami plays lights out like they did against Duke when they play UL AND I look forward to UL getting a taste of the Cameron Crazies. Other than VA, they will have their way with Pitt, Clemson, maybe NC State will play well. Interesting entrance to their dream conference.

Absolutely agree. I think the Cards are too close for some to be able to see it clearly. And to be honest, they faked it pretty well early because they can blow trams out mercilessly when they have an edge to exploit, like if a team has poor ball handlers, has no front court, or just lacks the quickness to stay in front of their guards. But they are likely somewhere around #20 nationally.

When they face a team that has good athletes that can't be bullied and can defend them, they lose.

And truth be told, now that they've been unmasked so to speak, they may lose to some teams they should beat. The intimidation factor has gone a long way for them in several games. They do play jard but they just don't have the talent to beat good teams.

Look at their leading scorers

17.4
15.2
12.8
12.5

3.8
3.4
2.9
2.9
2.2
2.0

Prized recruit, Shaqquan Aaron is getting 8.7 minutes per game and is the guy averaging 2.9 points per. Then look at the other stats from the bench guys. 2 guys averaging over 5 boards and that is about it in the other categories. They have absolutely no one on that team who makes the guys around them better. Chris Jones averages 3.7 assists and 2.4 turnovers per game. They are a 4 man team. Those 4 players are pretty good players, but the rest of the supporting cast is fairly dreadful.

Same old same old,Pitino pads the Win column and stats by playing weak OOC Schedule, then loses to every decent team in conference. I expect UL to have 8 - 10 losses by tourney time and lose the first weekend of the NCAA.
