MSU is probably better than UGA.
They are better than UGA. Pope is either going to completely change his offensive philosophy, or we are going to hope for a .500 finish in the SEC, because it won’t be any better if we live and die by the 3.

Also, he needs to send Robinson to a shrink. Guy is a net negative on both sides of the ball right now.

For whatever reason we seem to tend to turn it back on for ranked teams. Let’s see if we can do it Saturday.

Miss State might be the second or third best team in the conference.

Auburn is clearly the best, but MSU might be as good or better than Bama.

It's all about physicality with this team. Pysical teams get in their heads. I dont think it's as simple the relative skill of another team. I think we'll suffer from this issue all year but thats ok.

We never dreamed we'd be as good as we are now in the preseason. This is a fun year with great wins as a bonus and I think we'll win a couple in the tournament.

Do we need to just try more zone against these physical teams? Would that help on the defensive side at least?

Is going be an interesting one. They do show up for the big ones, but will they match that on the road?

This game will tell a lot, at least for me. Do they come out pissed after that performance in Georgia? Do they show they have effort and grit to compete on the road? We play like last night and it’s a 20+ beatdown. I can live with a close loss with effort, but please no more lackadaisical ball.

I'm probably not alone on this forum when I say I have a hard time imagining this team "pissed". Maybe Kerr, but the rest, nope. I mean, can anyone here imagine Jaxson or even Pope "pissed"?

The good news: This season has been a pleasant surprise to most.
This is where I am with this season. We've already exceeded my expectations this year, so I'm just enjoying the ride. I was disappointed with the game last night but not upset.

Some folks just can't help themselves though. When I see posts talking about how we aren't winning the SEC or we have a S16 ceiling, my only thought is "and? What did you expect when Pope had to build a team full of transfers from scratch in a month?"

The good news is that, like your avatar……you’re all hat, no cattle.
