Buie holds on defense in the last play of regulation (Domask) like he did against Maryland/Young.

Good things happen when the three Bs are shooting well, and Matt had a great game.

I honestly don’t think he fouled that last guy, but my view was bad.

Cats were 1-4 from 3FG in first half. This means they went 10-14 from 3FG in 2nd half. That's unreal.

I agree. Was expecting them to show a replay on tv, but didn’t.

One thing not in the box score - Langborg made two gym-rat plays that really helped stop Illinois momentum - the mid-air timeout he called early in the second half and going to the floor to ultimately lead to an Illinois turnover in the first half. Neither of those probably counted as "steals," but they were instrumental in limiting Illinois' possessions in a game when they were still scoring on pretty much every possession.

The foul differential was shocking until the very end when they racked up a few. It was like 22-9 heading into OT.

Don't forget 21 offensive boards for the Illini as well as a 46-32 rebounding advantage.

Also, the Cats overcame the Illini shooting 46% from three.
