I had never heard the story, but just watched a taped episode of 48 Hours and it was on there. Crazy stuff. Anybody live there around that time?

I grew up in KY about an hour or so away. I’d never heard of them either until I listened to a podcast a few years ago. Crazy story. I also watched the 48 hours special.
Well I grew up in Ashland which is about an hour and a half away. Hence, the “or so” part of my post. Not hard to go over the speed limit tho on 23.
