Been excited to see this one since I first saw the trailer. Solid first episode to get the series started. The opening action sequence was excellent. Wish they had released 2 episodes first though.

Agreed. Really good episode. More action and less cerebral than Wanda’s early episodes. Marvel doing Marvel things.

Great flick! Based on a true story. Perhaps Sean Penn’s best performance on the big screen.

Only 6 episodes but really good start. Stan and Mackie have great chemistry it's gonna be fun. Falcon has stark tech, but I'm surprised he didn't get vibranium wings. I like how marvel is getting into the PTSD of both characters. They've both been through and lost a lot. They both feel the weight of the world on who they SHOULD be. Both have taken the mantle of Captain America in the comics but I believe falcon held it longer. Will he truly embrace it by the end of the series?

I tried to find but what does this series feed into?

I don't think anything's been confirmed yet, but there are at least three tie-ins. This EW article's from a few days ago:

https://ew.com/tv/falcon-and-the-winter-soldier-digital-cover/

Similar to how WandaVision leads directly into the film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Spellman says he can think of three projects off the top of his head that tie into The Falcon and the Winter Soldier that he's "not allowed to talk about." Feige confirmed that Marvel is indeed planning multiple seasons for some of the Disney+ shows, but whether that pertains to this one in particular veers into "the spoiler realm," he says. "We have a future charted for characters post-Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but I don't want to say much more than that."

Think this will be a solid story based show. WandaVision was only interesting for the mystery. I'll never rewatch because it didn't come close to delivering. This looks to have character arcs and plots.

I used to read West Coast Avengers. Usagent was my favorite character. Never in my wildest dreams did I believe he would appear in any of this media.

Zemo is a villain he is currently incarcerated for his actions in Civil War. When they said they are going to see him it is like Clarice going to see Hannibal Lecter.

I know who Gandalf is. I read the Hobbit in 1937 when it came out!

:D

Enjoyed the episode and the chemistry between the two leads is very good. The action scenes are very well done. Not a lot of mystery in this one compared to Wanda Vision which is fine if they keep the action going. I'm a fan of Wyatt Russell from a few of his other roles (his dad is an all timer for me).

He originally auditioned for Cap back when they were making the first movie.

Episode three:

This was for me the weakest episode so far. Everything about Zemo's breakout and the sudden fortunate chance encounter with Agent Carter in Madripoor stretch my suspension of disbelief quite a bit.

Those are just really minor complaints though. This show's great.

Who is the Power Broker?

Sharon seems to be playing at something much bigger than hanging out in pirate town.

Zemo is great.

The post Endgame world building this show is doing is fantastic.

Sharon Carter in Madripoor is a stretch..but it is essentially safe haven for outlaws/reprobates in the comics so it kinda makes sense.

I thought everything was off. Lines said too fast with no pauses. Plots rushed where everyone meets at once. Apparently that woman who was introduced to immediately die from tuberculosis was important to the main antagonist. I'm afraid were going to find this series should've been 8 episodes.

Still works fine with good action and acting.

On the Power Broker:

It's probably just the same guy from the comics, Curtiss Jackson, but I hope the MCU makes him Justin Hammer. Kevin Feige hinted at Hammer's return a year ago when asked about it.

^ About to get real. Really enjoyed it to this point. Think there is only 2 episodes left.

She could be the power broker. It's either her or maybe thunderbolt ross.

Looks like the final two episodes are going to be fairly packed:

https://www.darkhorizons.com/falcon-series-fan-service-character-teased/

...writer Malcolm Spellman who says to Slashfilm that the upcoming fifth episode is when things “get real” and will introduce a Marvel character who has not yet been featured on screen.

The original report claims that a well-known actor will be taking on the mystery role, one that will NOT have a role in upcoming Phase 4 projects and so is essentially a standalone appearance. They theorise it’ll be the identity of the mysterious Power Broker who has been teased since early on.

One theory suggests that VanCamp herself is it because her character doesn’t use an iPhone (Apple doesn’t allow its products to be used by villains on screen). That said, filmmakers and showrunners are also aware of this rule and have manipulated it in the past to their advantage to throw people off the scent.
