Went from a peach basket to a net. Went from four corners to a shot clock. Went to a three point shot. Nil is ruining the game. I watched as much as usual this year. I will probably watch as much next year. I still enjoy the game. I am glad there is a shot clock!! Tks Dean Smith!! Lol. I meant to say we went from 1000$ envelopes to million $ NIL. The game is changing but like I said I still enjoy the game. So many folks want to complain about NIL. It is just the way it is until someone can change it!!

The ONLY way that the NIL, portal and transfer crap will change is if KENTUCKY reels off 3 or 4 champions, then they (NCAA) will start changing things!!!! Putting a stop to it!!

I don't know the intent or humor of the post. But, the truth is NIL now has made it an unfair situation for so many teams. Yes, at Kentucky we take pride in our history, tradition, and love our teams. If we are being honest NIL has given us a nice advantage over any mid-major. FAU two years ago had an amazing team that surprised many. So, what happens? With NIL they are without any of their stars (who otherwise are still in college) the last season.
I am thrilled that Q has decided to be part of our program. However, I do have to laugh at a post about the father and the love for BBN. It may be true. 2 Million didn't hurt either.
It is what it is and I do believe Coach Pope's positivity, style of play, and of course Kentucky being Kentucky attracts many elite players. I am excited about next season and that can be true while also recognizing that NIL as it stands at the moment needs some better rules.

I don't mind NIL because I support capitalism. This is America and I have a real problem with any entity denying a person the opportunity to earn a living. To me the NCAA has always been the most un-American organization around. I do feel like NIL will somehow be regulated soon but I'm not sure how that will go down. I'm not even sure I would support regulation, I guess I'd have to see it first. I also don't mind the portal because I don't like people being told what they can and cannot do with their lives. If a kid wants to go to 5 schools in 5 years then they should be able to that. Non-athletes have always been able to make this decision for themselves. So why not the athletes? The NCAA always had over-reach.

The game we grew up with is gone. We also carry around computers in our pockets, we no longer use cash, and none of our cars have a carburetor any more. Adapt or die. It's just ball.

Why would you even try to make this political? There is no reason other than being a troll. You may think your post was funny, but it was truly a pathetic attempt at humor. Sad to see so many people looking for any reason at all to divide our fanbase and country.

What you posted reminds me of when coach Joe B Hall raised money & built the first Wildcat Lodge. It had blue & white phones to go along with I believe 8' foot beds in each room. Well other schools started complaining to the NCAA that this was an unfair advantage for Kentucky. So the NCAA made UK take out the blue & white phones and replace them with just plain black ones they also had to make a bunch of other changes as well. I mean it's OK for North Carolina to put their players in dummy classes that a 5 year old kid could pass & for Duke years before NIL came along to put the families of recruits in $million dollar homes. But how dare UK want to have blue & white phones in a dorm room.

That's what I was referring to, anything that might make Kentucky have an advantage the NCAA would probably put a stop to it! I remember that about the Wildcat Lodge!

Cant imagine the original idea of NIL was to create a bidding war for players and leave the Cinderallas long gone . Its a massive **** show . The Academic portion of College is gone , do these mercenaries even bother with class ? I hate it .
