...so far on FS1 is a total embarrassment.

I’ve seen more of Woods on the freaking practice range than I have live golf. The only nonsense I’ve seen more of then Woods hitting meaningless range shots is the effing announcers faces.

Honestly, can any network understand that the true golf fan wants to watch the golf?

None of the rest of them are any better IMO. I like Tiger but when there's golf being played on the course then show that. Oh well. And I guess I could have posted this on the US Open thread as well. [winking]

Waaaa, waaaa. Puhlease, what do u want them to show? Bernd wiesberger making a 5 footer? Tiger is why the majority of the people watching are even watching. Oh and they’ve done a pretty good job showing a lot of golf imho. Could be much worse and we miss the entire morning wave of golfers (Augusta :eyes:).

I wonder how much of an issue it would have been had they been focusing on Phil?

Networks understand that all the true golf fans won't pay the bills.

Woods sells. He brings the casual masses home and abroad, therefore the ratings.

During his decade off, networks tried to sell you Rory, Speith, Fowler, DJ, Brooks, Justin Thomas, Justin Rose, Duffner, and an assortment of fly by night pop-ups who won a top tier tournament, major, and or FedEx Cup...ratings tanked...nobody cared...True hardcore golf fans during those times were about like true boxing fans...Old folks told stories about them, but most have seen more footage of UFOs and Bigfoot.

If they ever went head to head, Woods on the range would command a higher price ticket than all the other cats, in contention, coming down 18 on Sunday.

Just like most would rather watch LeBron shootaround than Kawi in Game 7.

Why did you feel it was necessary to start another thread in the US Open?
Because I didn’t look to see if there was a thread.

Why’s it such a big deal? Jesus Christ, some of you will ***** about anything.

Go have some beers and get laid for Gods sakes.
