Obviously, you guys like having fun with this, you did all season (and the GIF is really creative) but the truth is a bunch of NBA scouts and GM’s proved Roy was right, for all his hype, Nas just isn’t that good.
Hopefully, he’ll develop into the player many thought he was coming out of high school, maybe he won’t. Time will tell...

Whoa.... According to a ppg by minutes played out of a possible 40 mp, Little would have averaged 21 ppg for UNC last year. Nas "just isnt that good," even though hoops guru Jay Bilas emphasized multiple times: "Portland got an ABSOLUTE STEAL!!!????" Sorry not buying what you're selling....Its a luxury truly for the coach when he can limit the McDonald's game MVP to less than 20 mins per game.Nas just picked the wrong school, said himself "he really didnt understand his role" at UNC.

I like Jay, seems like a nice cat, but the entire NBA leadership just proved you and Jay wrong, and Roy right, at least for now.
But, hey...kids going to get paid and maybe he will be a steal, or lost in the D league. Like I said, time will tell...

I think you're just simply blind to Roy doing anything wrong. Maybe Roy SHARES your opinion of "Nas just isnt that good." Roy should know, after all, #RoyKnew.

Uhh...no, Roy does stuff I don’t agree with in every game. Difference is, Roy gets paid to coach, I don’t, and ole Roy’s record ain’t too bad.
If Nas had been that good, Roy would have started him, period. Coby was better than Seventh, Roy started him, all year.
But, my point stands with draft night. Every scout and GM had a microscope on that kid, as they did with all those other guys, and every single one punted on Nas. That had zero to do with Roy or his program and everything to do with their assessments of Nas.
Could he have developed better in a different program? Maybe. Could a different coach have won a NC with Zion, Barrett and Redish? Maybe. It’s all BS speculation, really.

Hey maybe UNC would still have won some of those tainted titles w/o bogus classes too! As you say, "its all BS speculation, really."

I doubt it. At least not 2009. Do you know how hard Tami Hanstravel had to work to get free vacations?!?!? Can you imagine how hard she would have had to work to keep that mouth breather academically eligible without the fake classes? The woman would have permanent lockjaw!

She worked hard for the money! And got her 'jersey' (and numbers) retired (well, maybe just 'honored'), but it was a unanimous vote by all the players. Her son even accepted the award. Now that's afam-ily!

Ah yes indeed Dirt!!! Think of all the flops she took! Ol Roy helped keep Hanstravel in Chapel Hill his senior year by getting Tami a "job" at the school! She "worked" Matt Kupec and who knows who else!!!???

Great work Dirt!!! Oh could I have some fun w/this is if we werent a family show. Put it this way Roy had it all figured out. He made a couple calls to get McCants grades straightened out in bogus classes in '05, kept Hansbrough happy his senior year and out of the NBA in '09 by giving mom a job.

Ol Roy's slick behind that "aw shucks" facade. Maybe ol Roy got a flop or two out of Tami himself!!!! OFC
