The Lady Cats Just won in overtime

By about eight over Marquette.I know that Pulliam took over in overtime and scored the first eight points for the Cats.

It was an ugly, ugly game. Our bigs were the only good thing for about 3/4 of the game. Wolfe very good inside. Scheide only one who could hot a shot. Fortunately they were worse for most of the game.

Marquette got their first lead with about 5 minutes left, Burton tied it with a layup with 4 seconds left. Pulliam finally got going a bit at the end of regulation, and in OT took over the game.

So a good, ugly win. Go Cats!

I was only able to watch overtime and Pulliam made it fairly anti-climactic, which I appreciated. MU won the Big East regular season title last season, has made three consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, and soundly beat us in Evanston last year, so this seems like a solid win. I think MU was without one of their better players though.

NU plays at Duke on Sunday. I was hoping we'd get at least one of these two road games, but both would be even better.
