It will be repeated by ESPN and sports journalists for years. Other coaches will bring it up on the recruiting trail to show ‘Big game James’ can’t win.

0’fer is a real possibility with those teams.

I was more optimistic for 1999.
The margin of error was much different then. Just waiting on the “mathematical” elimination after the first Saturday of October with the expanded format in this day and age is something else.
