Have any of yall been to the Florence park. Driving by it many a time en route to Reds or Bengals games. I believe this will be my excuse to do it. Wondering how it compares to our ballpark. Legends are such a great value.

Passed it a lot. Only seats 4,500 compared to 7,000 at Whitaker Bank?

Doesnt seem like it would but I bet the Pepsi party deck and such allows for some number finagling (sp?)
I worked at the Bdubs on Todds Rd when Rocket pitched here and the day after his start he came in for dinner. I didnt pester him for an autograph, just said "Thanks for coming in and as a former pitcher I just want to shake your hand." He was gracious and went about his business. Some patrons of course asked for autographs and he obliged.

Oh man..you need to read up on Hildebrant and Florence’s stadium

In August, Fifth Third Bank sued team part-owner Chuck Hildebrant for failing to repay multiple loans taken out to finance the stadium construction. As part of the lawsuit, it was revealed that Hildebrant had used 204 acres (0.83 km2) of land that he did not own as collateral for the loans, and that he had given the bank a forged document as proof of ownership.[

They could have found that out with a very quick check with the property assessors office. Amazing how little due diligence can be done in a huge deal like that. Just shows you there’s incompetence at every level and everyone’s just making it up as they go along.

I worked for the (then) Florence Freedom from 05-06, and then in 08. It was after the Hildebrant "era".

UC Health Stadium park is nice by Frontier League comparisons, but not quite as nice as Whitaker Bank Park. Its pretty generic and no frills. And, like yall have stated, the seating capacity in Florence is considerably less than Whitaker Bank. It still should be fun to see baseball live though at both places, even if it is an unconventional circumstance.
