The loss of Hudspeth and Diaz shows.

but your Diaz comment is retarded (as I type - pick 6). Diaz had nothing to do with our offense and that is our problem. The D looks damn good, I think.

Diaz went to Texas cause everyone that Mack Brown called said to get Diaz when Muschamp left.

Mr. Wilson's fat *** was not begged to stay at Oklahoma.

Just my personal opinion.

Chris Wilson is not the problem with our team. So I'll take "on the field results" over your "opinion" (with all due respect).

Before you rail on Wilson, the defense has played well today. Our special teams and offense might as well have stayed on the damn bus.

Our punt and kickoff coverage is atrocious. And as hard as it is to believe, Wilson can't wave a magic wand and have actual SEC defensive ends appear.

Our O-line just isn't getting it done. We can't run, so Relf has to pass = not what we want. Not saying our defense is awesome or anything, but they're not losing games for us.

The defense hasplayed wellagainst LSU and today against Georgia, but has pretty much sucked the other games. 2 of 5.

It is like when 1 half of the team shows up to play, the other half stays on the bus. Special teams suck always.

Auburn scored 10 points in the 2nd half (7 of which came after a 1st down they didn't make)..... LT scored one of their TDs (that really wasn't a TD) on a 35 yard drive.. and you can't really take anything from Memphis

While our gameplan and initial execution was questionable, adjustments were made and the D got after it after they got a chance. And ST giving the D crap for field position is a big part of why the D has looked bad at times. D looked good in 2nd half.

Regardless of how horrible Memphis is - we gave up 14 points on 2 turnovers. That's the only time Memphis scored was when we turned it over inside our own 30.

Against LA tech - we gave up 13 true points. The other 7 came on Mullen's fake punt that after review - shouldn't have been a touchdown.

The only game our defense has been the reason we lost was Auburn and we still should have won that game.

If you think about it - our D hasn't played that bad this season.

I am not saying I am completely sold on Wilson, but you have to remember that we lost all three starting linebackers and a starting defensive end. The DE and 2 out of the 3 linebackers are currently in the NFL. It is hard to replace that much talent and you can't replace the experience.

We knew coming into the season that our Defense would not be as good and needed the offense to be better and they just have not delivered. so basically, I am just trying to point out that it is unfair to compare this years D under Wilson to last years D under Manny.

this guy is an idiot! Somebody punch him in the neck for being the most 17'n retard today so far. Hud, maybe Diaz benefited from McPhee, Wright & White. How is it Wilson's or the D fault w/ this type of field position? Get 17 out of here. U want s stat dumbass here ya go, in the 2nd half Georgia had the ball 6 times. Of those 6, 2 of which were inside our 20. U wanna know how many points they scored. 3 u dumbass! 3 17'ing points. Manny did EXACTLY what Petrino did to Louisville. Only Petrino recruited his kids. Manny got a fat *** deal w/ texas based on what fltech, boyd, mcphee, white & wright did. His wife HATED starkville. He enjoyed being drunk & was too busy knocking on doors @ huntington park in the middle of the night to give 2 shakes of rat **** what we did! Manny was no "saivour". I wouldv'e thought we left the saviour **** to the blackbears. But what do u know, there are actually 17'ing idiot fans everywhere! Thanks for the post dumbass, come by the woodshed ANYTIME!

The new little receivers coach is not good. He just graduated in 2008! And Mullen is doing a **** job with special teams.

Anyhow. I am not sold onWilson. Losing all of our linebackers hurt. But I thought Cox on Boyd on the DL would be better. They've been pretty much non-existant.

I just wanna win.

the scheme we (wilson) runs the LBs get all the glory. Our great DTs that u mentioned are to prevent runs in the middle. Cox & Boyd did thier job in the 2nd half but I will atest that we need more consistancy. After the gator bowl I thought (that being Mirando's 1st time in prep and on the field coaching) I was very wooly and I thought that he was gonna make HUGE strides. But, so far his group has looked suspect. Oh and to the guy that said my post was retarded or I was retarded. All of that **** about Manny is true. My best friend was the cop that responded to the call & it wasn't the first time he'd done that. And his wife DID hate Starkville.

I canunderstand Diaz getting so wasted he goes to the wrong house, because a fair number of the houses in Huntington Park look the same......we have all had our bad nights.......but for a minute it sounded like he was after some late night 'tang and most all there isin HPis some 70 yr old tang, and that thought was kind of alarming.

Diaz coached a very good MSUDefense witha couple ofNFL talents. Specifically, under him we were aggressive and unpredictable; we succeeded. Because of these things he had a to get a huge raise and increase his responsibilities at a bigger, better program. Good for him and his family. I would take him or Hudback in a minute if Mullen were to leave and I wish them both well. </p>
