This board is about to get ugly. I've been overly optimistic about this team since we got JV, but realization has set in. Folks, we aren't good. We don't have to melt down and trash players or Cal, but we aren't close to good, and playing a good team on the road.

I'd like to see some people actually support the team when we aren't good. Critisicm is warranted, and should be discussed, but let not just trash the players and coaching. Be good fans. A good fan, is a fan, good team or not.
We're not awful. Just not good. Honestly, we have too many players with three year talent and a OAD mentality.
Did I trash players or Cal? I specifically said we shouldn't.
Are you the guy who decides what a good fan is? Is there a place the rest of us can go and study what fans should and should not do?
Let's not get after each other. We're all not happy about this. Emotions are high.
So I can say the team sucks, but I can't say that Richards is weak, can't rebound or block shots and fouls too much?
We have one stretch from the 8 minute mark to 4 minute mark that WVU went on a 16-2 run to go from 22-19 to 38-21 with all the turnovers during that stretch that gave them that run. Turnovers have killed us in our last 3 losses.
This team has no stars but, players that need longer to develop. I really hope MOST of the guys decide to come back, given that MOST will not be first rounders.

Would like to see the mods pin this one. It is the perfect example of people on here overreacting to every game and every play and the result is them making a fool of themselves. I have seen some of these people posting on here for years and they act like every game is the first game they ever watched. I was going to really slam one of the posters but refrained due to respect for his username. However, I will say that if you are going represent one of the greatest organizations in the world, please show said organization and all those who are a part of that organization some respect by at least thinking about what you are typing.

Cal just can't coach...that erasing of a 17 or deficit, defensive adjustments, not allowing wvu to get in their press, spacing on offense, turning down on turnovers in the 2nd half, and overall developmemt and rise in confidence was all from just rolling the ball out....right?

I was getting pretty irate when we came out in the 2nd half and couldn't inbound the ball then fell behind by 17 so I switched over to Wolf of Wall Street, laughed for a couple of minutes and came back to the game with an attitude adjustment. From there we owned them so I have to take some blame for our bad play because of my attitude. Got upbeat and we steam rolled them.
Yeah I posted when everything looked bad. And also said, don't blast players or Cal. I then started an "I Believe" thread. 'Gotcha posting' is an art, but we see ya.
