Welp, usually the morning after a brutal loss I wake up after a good nights sleep with some perspective and reason to be positive. I got nothing this morning.

If no changes are made, we are basically forfeiting our final four games. I know Beamer can’t make any public announcement, but I just can’t see how Satterfield can be allowed to call plays the rest of the way. It simply isn’t working and would be an exercise in futility to keep trying it.

As excited as we all were over the UK and A&M wins, we all know they weren’t the result of some great game plan. The Mizzou game was just reality catching up with us.

I don’t known if there are changes that can be made at this point to try picking up 2 more wins down the stretch, but I do know if no changes are made then we have no shot at all of going any better than 1-3 and that 1 is a toss-up.

I have a feeling both of us will be thinking and writing your exact words next year. Hate to sound so negative, however I've come to finally face reality with Carolina football, regardless who the AD is and other excuses I've used in the past.

I hate waking up on Sunday pissed off. Not what I want to be. Then I hate myself cause God doesn’t want me to be like this. At least Mizzou has played everyone tough…thats a start. We play decent one game, then are out of our league in others. Not good.

I still see Vandy as a win, which means bowl game. What will that be like after the orange crush? Who knows.

But I am concerned that a 6 win season and bowl game will be a "success" that leads to giving Satterfield being given another chance.

I cant handle losing in anything. Just my nature. What I really hate is losing with a 💩 effort. That was a 💩 show yesterday. If coaches were paid according to their performance. No one would’ve earned any money yesterday.

Gamecock Football - gotta love it. Hopefully our head coach can get some good advice from SOS, Frank and others. He is gonna need it to fix this mess. Hope he can. Gonna take 3-4 years to figure it out. There just wasn’t much talent on the team he inherited. Rattler is just a desperate option that doesn’t seem to be panning out.

The joys of Gamecock football.

A bowl is good bc it gives a month of extra practice, but if we spend that month still trying to make Rattler/Satterfield work its almost counter productive. Id almost rather not make a bowl and start fresh December 1st

We could start with a new OC for the bowl game with a month to practice something new.

Give Doty a shot with a different approach. All new plays. Work on all week and then test it out at Vandy. Could it be worse than Rattler back there? Any chance Rattler comes back next year? If so, hopefully with a new OC

We have talent but Satt obviously does not know how to use it effectively.

This is my biggest concern as well. I will check out if Satterfield is retained. Literally would rather watch grass grow and watch squirrels than to watch a Satterfield offense.

I'm all for trying Luke.

I'll go a little farther and suggest that we get some playing time for our OL bench as well. Not a wholesale change out,
just some snaps for those we'll be relying on next year. Of course, that might back fire because we might look even more lost than we do now on the line if that's possible.

This isn't conceding anything for this year. It is prepping for next year.

Makes sense. If what you are doing isn't working try something or someone else. Hello Satterfield - I'm speaking to you!

If someone good is available I’d be in favor of installing him for the bowl game and putting the bowl practices to good use.

Our two best wins were against teams that handed us a score on their first drive. When that doesn't happen, we don't look very good. Someone on this board told me Satt's body of work was being 5-2. That was the STs and defense's body of work.

Anyway, I've lost my capacity to feel embarrassment.

Yeah. Offense doesn't have much to do with us beating UK or A&M. Taking away any short fields set up for us by the D, the offense was shut out in the first half of both games. They were shut out until a couple minutes left in the 3rd quarter of the A&M games.

I know the D took some heat yesterday, and rightly so, but we lose the A&M game without them since they set us up for 10 points offensively. Shoot they spotted us the ball at the 5 and we couldn't even gain a yard and had to settle for a FG. The UK game would have been a lot closer as well.
