I’m surprised that ESPN didn’t make Penn State an example for slowing Iowa’s “High Velocity” offense. We clearly gained a competitive advantage by having our key defensive player fake a season ending injury.

How do they determine it is a fake injury? Will they send out a medical ref to decide? Won’t that slow up the game? I thought player safety was the biggest concern and this would encourage injured players to hobble off the field when the safe response is not to move. To this day I hate Iowa fans for booing our injured players. I don’t think this tactic has won any team a game. If they want to stop it, they should instantly send out a medical crew and cart to safely remove the player and continue the game.

I'm glad King Mack is back. At Alabama he learned how to flop. Maybe that skill will serve us well in Iowa City. It'll drive those goobers nuts.
