I think it is really odd that NU Athletics announced the final season at Dyche by text but had no supporting press release. I have to assume that if they know the project begins after the 2022 season then they A) have a design and B) have an alternate location for the next two years. I was expecting a press release with a rendering. I don't work in PR but I think they missed the opportunity for a big splash announcement.

It's possible I just overlooked it but I don't even think I got a text, and I'm definitely on the distro list...if not for this board I wouldn't even know they were that far along in this process.

Just curious...did any other STH who regularly receives NU FB texts *not* get the one about the stadium? It seems weird that I didn't get it but it's not in my texts, which I don't delete...just wondering if it could've been distributed based on seating, giving rate, etc.

Wouldn’t shock me in the least coming from our ticket office.
Truth, i remember the yearly dance with them regarding priority points and parking. That was pre ticket reps, so I remember the one dude in particular. A simple database would have been easy to implement. It was a annual event to correct their errors and get the parking we requested.

I have not heard anything about season ticket renewal, nor have I gotten any info on the stadium project

NU better rethink the financing and get more money from Mr. Ryan. No one‘s paying the proposed premium prices for this product, new stadium or not. I currently have season tickets on the 50 yard line, east side, and not willing to pay more than a nominal increase for my seats in the new stadium, unless there is a dramatically different product on the field.

Could be in error, but I'd imagine they're trying to get the rebuild started by December 2022 so it makes sense if this is the last season in current Ryan Field.

Doubt we get any "official" announcement until all the i's are dotted and t's are crossed on that though...

I would assume that either 2022 or 2023 is the last season.
