Some thoughts.....

* JT Tilley really brings a level of respectability to the sport that was missing in the earlier days. He's a true ambassador for the sport and a consummate professional.

* Every major sport, including Slap Fighting, needs a heel, but Rocky takes it too far. The constant antics are too much -- blowing kisses at his competition after every slap, running his mouth nonstop......let's be honest. The guy writes checks his *** can't cash. He also probably has the weakest chin of any major competitor. He's a total fraud.

* Shamokin Thunder Clap is my favorite, pound-for-pound. He's such a savage. He's tough, talented, disciplined, and tenacious. Great strength and power, and precise with his slaps.

Look at how easily he dispatches of The Butcher here.

* Other superlatives:

- Most Underrated = Monkey Wrench
- Most Overrated = Frank the Tank
- Most Accurate = Monkey Wrench
- Strongest pound-for-pound slapper = Raven
- The Peoples Champion = Darius the Destroyer

* How do we score tickets to the next event?

Cats Illustrated GD Board Road Trip, anyone?

They have medical experts on hand to perform duties such as raising their feet above their head when they get knocked down, waiving air on their face to help them regain focus and consciousness, and imposing penalties for stepping, clubbing, and flinching.

I'm not worried about these athletes, health wise.

The sport is growing like crazy, and it's going to be interesting to see how they build their stable of athletes for the coming generations. Considering how much talent is already competing at the highest levels right now, it's going to be incredible once the younger crop of slappers hit the big leagues. Youth leagues, high school, AAU, college rec leagues, co-ed divisions........the future is bright for Slap Fighting as an elite, major sport.

Why do some of them hold big foam things when they're getting slapped?

Easily the greatest individual performance in Slap Fighting history, worldwide. He fought thru the pain, and just refused to give up. Sometimes you have to be willing to lay it all on the line, and he did.

Can’t wait to sign up young mossip as soon as they are of age (I’m childless, but now I’m rethinking it).

Now I know how exciting it was when Naismith hung the first peach basket. Pretty cool being part of history and super pumped to watch the sport grow.
