IMO if the season continues like the first game Stoops and company will lose the recruits they have on board and the red shirt freshmen will transfer out? Be cause they could play immediately. The asst. coach's and most importantly Vince Morrow will take other jobs. Basically the rats will jump from the burning ship. It will be a shame because if we could keep this team in tact and add a couple juco defensive lineman maybe a transfer then we could be really good. Stoops has got to turn this around and quick. Maybe 50k for the New Mexico State game and it'll get worse from there.

If next weeks game at Florida gets even remotely ugly, there will be nowhere near 50k for New Mexico. Might be lucky to turn out 35k.

If I am allowed to post, I will say this, this team is growing, fans, like it or not, need to grow as well. I was at the game Saturday as I have been for the last 26 years, we cannot afford to sit back, take a wait and see attitude and hope for the best. If it takes a bit of the bourbon to open you up, take a shot or 2 before coming in but we need to get loud, nasty and be there from the opening kick to the final horn. The feeling of dread throughout the crowd does not stop at the sideline. The players feel it too. I saw a glimpse of how good this team can be, I want to be around when they hurdle that obstacle. It's 1 game, lets keep fighting.

Here's the deal, if we get blasted by the gators which I don't think will happen because of our morals the redshirts will be flocking to other programs when Stooge is let go mid season. Only jauk can save us now maybe Dallas but I like him better

I will bet you that I get louder than you do... With that being said, please tell me what we had to cheer about the second half

Absolutely nothing as it turns out. I was hoarse on the way home, grant it, most from the late first and early second quarter. My point being, we were ranked #74 coming into this game, USM #45, why the arrogance? We got beat by a more fundamentally prepared team. Beat the Gators this weekend and all is forgotten
