The rest of the UK schedule

If UK can win tomorrow and take 2 out of 3 next weekend against USC, the schedule sets up VERY well for UK until the season ending series at Florida. 8 straight home games, including series against Georgia and Tennessee. They would have a very good chance to finish first in the East. That would have to translate into nice national seed.

The Cats have put themselves in one helluva nice position. After this week, I'd imagine they'll be top 5 in the RPI and top ten in each poll. That's getting close to top eight seed territory, which could give them homefield advantage all the way to Omaha!

So 9 of the last 15 are at home. All nine of the home games are against light competition (well, lighter than what they've faced so far). Go 8-1 at home and 3-3 on the road, and that would put Kentucky at 39-17, 20-10 heading to Hoover. I'd think an 11-4 finish would put them in contention for a top eight seed????

Would have been nice if South Carolina had hung on against Florida. They are sinking like a rock, but we'll see a desperate team next weekend trying to salvage their season.
