So, I think the results of this operation could not be better. Believe it or not, after 3 biopsies, they still aren't exactly sure what the heck this thing is. I am posting at 4am on Saturday morning because I CAN NOT sleep. It was a liquid filled mass. They drained it and scraped it out. Did not have to take any ribs, nor lung. My left lung hurts. Especially when I do the deep breathing exercises they have me doing. I'll take that any day over the other 2 options. They had to collapse the lung to do their job. Might be in here for 3 or 4 days to get everything working right, again. Best news of all is I will be yelling at the TV after all. Probably for the West Virgina game. Tom, I'm coming after you. They did find fiberous material...so they think it is a tumor but benign. Testing it to be sure.

Here’s hoping our kids give you plenty of reasons to yell at the TV.

I hate liquid filled masses and fiberous material. I'm glad to hear that you kicked their arses.

Excellent news, it appears, @MontereyLion

I have no doubt that you'll be up to par in your Pick'Em selections. Speaking of which, I have to set that up.

Keep us posted as the remaining test results come in.
