He made a decision to play a skinny freshman at QB after a couple games who couldn't throw.
With a system that could actually use his skill set. Neal's system couldn't use Pat White nearly as well as RR's
I forgot. It's hard to switch from an Air Raid system to a QB dominate run game. REAL difficult.

Apparently it is for Neal. The reason is line play and philosophy. Without the zone blocking that RR liked to employ, White and Slaton were not likely to be as effective as they were. Neal is rigid. If Neal has a task, he'll come up with what he thinks is the best tool for the job. When he doesn't have that tool, he will use what he does have in the same manner as the equipment he is missing. Instead he should be trying to find a way that completes the task by using the strengths of the equipment he does have.

Jacksonville State has accepted an invitation to join Conference USA, the school and the conference announced Friday. He should do well in that little lady conference. I think you should become a Gamecock donor and leave the board.
You could coach that division and win it.

They are starting to realize that the truth is they were always a middle of the pack Big East team. The hype, provided by ESPN ACC agenda, was just that hype. It’s a great job but it is not a destination job. Shane didn’t want it, wake forest didn’t want it, Louisiana Monroe didn’t want it, no splash hire.
