UConn football is 27-78 since 2013
I see more expansion I do see UCONN Joining the AAC again. Now how much will that help I do not know but if the AAC adds Army and UCONN which I think they will the conference could be a solid conference and help UCONN out a little.
Owning the Army Navy Game could help give the AAC a little more $$$$$$.
I always felt there should a 30-30 on teams that were relevant post BCS. USF, IMO should be in the Big 12.Yup. South Florida is in the same boat. Went from being a possible NC game appearance to irrelevance. Also since the BCS was replaced by the playoff there do not seem to be as many upstarts outside the power 5. ECU, SMU, Boise I bet all have similar drop offs since the BCS era ended.

A blessing in disguise. UCONN fans have more time to focus their thoughts and actions on what truly matters in life.
I'd love to know the numbers on college football as a whole with respect to popularity. Maybe it'll become more popular overall, but it's less popular with me. I don't watch much other than WVU and I don't care about the playoff in the slightest. And if WVU ever makes it there I'll care about whatever game they play in and not the others. As by design. The old farts have finally gotten their way. The entire CFB season revolves around the same 2-4 programs every year and the gap between haves and have nots has never been wider. Sure they lost control of the “rules for thee but not for me” aspect that allows select schools to get away with cheating, but a small loss in the grand scheme dating back to the concerted effort to kill Big East football in 2003.
The sport is in decline in terms of interest, participation, attendance, but atleast somewhere in the southeast there is a room full of old dudes toasting to another successful season of uneventful beat downs by the nation’s top programs.
Yeah but after 12 seasons Grothe finally ran out of eligibility.Yup. South Florida is in the same boat. Went from being a possible NC game appearance to irrelevance. For 2021-22, 84,626 played football, down from 89,756 in 2019-20 and down from 91,305 in 2018-19. There has been a decline every season since 2015.
I think UConn would beat us on a neutral field 4/10 times this year.UConn football is 27-78 since 2013
Not sure it would matter if it's in Morgantown or on the road.I think UConn would beat us on a neutral field 4/10 times this year.
