It's going to be an uneasy feeling until a new coach is hired. I hope they find the right guy.
It's coming. Variable is time.
CJB? I guess we'll see. He seems to be the obvious hire, but he's just 13-12 in 2 years at Purdue. Not exactly setting the college football world on fire there. Don't get me wrong, I like CJB just because of his close family ties, but maybe we can do better?

Been feeling the same. keep telling myself he did great work at WKU and turned around the armpit of the B10 so there is talent there. Plus, he’s shown the ability to attract talent and is capable of taking down and blue blood even if PU sometimes didn’t fare as well against lesser opponents. I’m feeling Babers and love the way the Cuse plays. I think Venables might be worth a try. Whoever we get has their hands full. Mickey Crum was an embarrassment tonight. Plus, who knows what is going on with Puma and some of the others.
In the end, I feel like JB is the guy but are we overblowing his capabilities? I guess it all shakes out soon. Wouldn’t want Vince’s job right now.
Always been sad when a season ends except this one. Actually excited to see who the new coach is.

I hope Vince broadens the search beyond JB. He’s not the only one out their and there could be better hire. Who knows not saying JB would be a bad hire but he hasn’t been at Purdue that long. Having said that I wouldn’t be upset with a JB hire.
