UL has been using the Galt House for recruitment “purposes” for many many years. Minar Hall wasn’t the lead off batter for them

The UL athletic program is hurting for money. All of the costs associated with the battles with the NCAA and the subsequent firings of Jurich and Pricktino bled them. They also lost a big part of the sweetheart revenue deal that they had with the YUM Center when the bond deal was renegotiated. If there is no football this year, they will be in even a bigger hole.
