Great decision by the AD/Fitz to participate in this; I know it was speculated who would be the "home" team after Nebraska was chosen as the opponent, but in hindsight the decision looks incredible.

Yeah if we're having a home game out of state, the only way it makes sense is this kind of overseas showcase or some sort of neutral area outside of the home state of the opponent.

That Ohio State game in Cleveland was a money grab by Bruce Corrie, the AD at the time. To me, it was a disgrace and the nadir of Northwestern football. And then, the next year, came Gary Barnett to save the day!
