The season doesn't tip for over 6 months. We will be fine. I'm not saying we'll be a Bagley or Zion surprise commit kinda fine, but I trust the staff. We got this.

I think the last thing we want on a Duke team is a player who doesn't want to be on a Duke team.

Boogie wanted the ball at PG...Tre was in his way-

OFC

Sounds like he would have been a chemistry killer then. I don’t think he would have ever gotten the starting PG role, because if Tre didn’t come back, then more than likely RJ Hampton would have been the starting PG. it’s all kind of strange because recruiting analysts think Boogie’s landing spot will be in Memphis alongside RJ Hampton. Boogie won’t be a starting PG there either

Duke is so good at recruiting wings and guards that I'm not worried about the following season, even if a 20-21 year old Stanley leaves after 1 year.

I'm more concerned about having some big guys since come tournament time some skinny freshmen won't be enough.

I respect his decision. I think it is the right call if he wants to be featured. There are not guarantees at Duke. I kind of hope he goes to Memphis. I see him as a fun 14/3/5 guy that will be hot and cold all year. That shot release is low.

It stings more for next year than this year. Hopefully Stanley stays 2 years.

I was feeling this way for a bit, I’ve even said the same as recently as today. If recruiting goes as planned, Boogie’s time may have been limited next season too. At best (for Duke) this opens another scholly for a big for next year. At worst (for Duke), Boogie becomes an All-American and leads Memphis to the title game.

One of those is waaaayyy more likely than the other.
