While we are all atingle with anticipation for the record tonight I thought I would warm you guys up with a little trivia.

There have been five wrestlers represent three different schools in the NCAA tournament. Can you name them?

Bonus points if you can identify their unique achievement.
  1. Who did it while taking consecutive years off?
  2. Who did it while going winless in one of the tournaments?
  3. Who did it while setting the record for most career loses at the tournament?
  4. Who did it while amassing a career losing record at the tournament?
  5. Who did it while winning an individual title?

One is easy and obvious. He started at PSU and went winless in his first tournament, skipped a couple of years, and won, not one but 2 individual titles. He did not set the record for career losses or amass a career losing record.

I guess on a technicality he "represented" three teams, I did not include him because he only wrestled in the NCAA tournament for two teams.

Point of clarification, you said "represent" not wrestle. Nicky Pushups did qualify though went 0-2 on mfor. I'd say that (weakly) represents. I can only come up with one other so far, wrestled for Wyoming, Oklahoma and Iowa.
One of five who wrestled (two of six who represnted). Well done.
