I love the Who. Actually was at the '79 concert then saw them again in Rupp in '81. Much like many other rock gods of the 60s, they're, at best, a shadow of themselves. Daltrey can't hit half the notes and is just too old to have much energy. In their prime, they were hard to beat. They (and others) feel like a tribute band now.

Same here. One of my all-time favorite bands. Didn't go last night. I know I would have enjoyed it but obviously the power from 30 year-olds were missing in guys well into their 70's.

So you haven’t seen them live since 1981 and weren’t there last night?
