4. They're robbing organized crime of all mystique, no matter how undeserving that sort of idol worship is/was

That one was awful I agree but Franzese has some very interesting interviews. Check out the one with Roger Reaves. Flew planes Escobar if I remember correctly.

I used to watch a lot of Franzese's stuff, but when he commissioned that mural, paying homage to past mob bosses, and made it his background it really rubbed me the wrong way. The fact that he proclaims to be a Christian, eschews the old life etc. and then hangs up a piece of artwork that, for all intents and purposes, glorifies his old life, meh... it just hit me wrong.

Plus, he refuses to come clean about being a CW, and rationalizes the Norby Walters stuff to no end.

I DO enjoy the insights into the history of the mob, but it's hard to tell how truthful he's being.

I know that he made the mafia MILLIONS in that gasoline tax fraud scheme. While it lasted, he was probably one of the biggest "earners" in mob history.

He's not the only one. I find it remarkable how thin-skinned and whiney these mob guys are. Like I said, they come across as a bunch of Karens... LOL
