We'll need a search engine the size of Rosie O'Donnell to find out, but I wonder if a Division-I football team has EVER lost back-to-back home games in which they led by 17 or more points at halftime.

In last years season closer, Stoops saw his team take a 24-7 lead into the locker room only to get absolutely humiliated in the 2nd half by Louisville (31-0). Last night, the Cats led 35-17 at the half only to get throttled in the 2nd (27-0).

That's a combined 2nd half score of 58-0 in the last two home games. Damn!

See my thread about in game coaching. Don't forget the ULL opener last year where we almost blew a 23 point lead.

It seems like they said it was a UK record on the post game show last night. Of course I was understandably drunk at that point so who knows how accurate that is.

I'd like to know if a team has ever lost a game at which they held a 2.8 yards per play advantage and was NOT negative in the Turnover category. I think it's impossible to do.

Nothing negative is impossible with UK football.

It takes a really 'special' kind of head coach to do that.
