I've never understood the problem w/ troughs. Very efficient use of space and time imo.

Those could be sandblasted clean and reporcelained into some nice coolers. Melting ice could drain into a separate bin or be plumbed into a floor drain.

Pre-reporcelainization, I would add some welded-in dividers so that different beverages can be better organized

That said, I wouldn’t pay more than $10 for one.
