  1. People who Talk loudly in public.
  2. Women cheering loudly at sporting events. Especially right behind me.
  3. Little league parents
Little league parents are the worse. I did it 2 years and one dad got really mad at me. I don't have kids and was only doing it to help friends but I was only an assistant. (Believe it or not, I was a pretty good baseball player back in the day) He started yelling things at the field that contradicted me and got mad at me. He didn't like it when I said I had no kid it the battle but if he wanted input into the team he should have signed up to coach his own kid instead of leaving it up to me. His wife got pissed. at him.

Not putting stuff back where you got it.
Definitely passive aggressive but back before cell phones I had a roommate that would use the wireless phone and when he was done just put it down wherever he was so if I went to look to use it the next time I would never be able to find it. I replaced the phone with a wired phone with a 3 foot cord so he was stuck standing by the phone if he wanted to talk on it until he went and bought another phone for himself.

When employees greet me when I walk into a business, particularly a place I go to often like the gym. Also don’t like getting the ‘have a nice day’ as I leave.

Referring to pizzas as “pies” and using read in the following context: “That was a really good read.”

They should not annoy me because they are perfectly acceptable usages. They annoy me because, well, I have no idea.

FIFY.

(My wife does this at home and it about drives me to distraction, I hope I don't have to get violent and throw her phone out the window or beat it with a hammer)
When my wife or anyone does this I either turn up the tv extremely loud or start talking louder into my phone until they look at me like somethings wrong.

I have so many I would have to classify them but 1 and 1B are:

1 - People in the fast lane doing the same speed as the car beside them in the slow lane. Me being 4-5 cars back from this person is literally the fastest path to me going from Bruce Banner to the Hulk.
1B - People loading up the boat on the boat ramp or unloading a boat on the boat ramp. Inevitably happens only when there are 6-7 deep trying to put in or pull their boat out.

I’m really only annoyed by things that I should be annoyed about, so I can’t really comment on this thread...which I find somewhat annoying.

  • "another day in paradise"
  • "living the dream"
  • CC'ing my managing attorney when I've never done anything to indicate I'll be unresponsive.
  • check engine light
  • people at the dog park that get upset when you mis-gender their dog
  • people that try to pet my dog without asking
  • vanity sizing. i hate trying on clothes.
  • sports talk with casual fans, i.e. just bad takes from people that don't understand the sport. it's supposed to be harmless fun, and i'm probably just as annoying to them.
  • salted butter, pre-chopped garlic, and deep dish pizza
  • masks below the nose
  • weather channel's website

Brother, that is another good one.

Was watching the Masters in November with my sister in law, who has probably never set foot on a golf course in her life, but is a world class expert at nearly any subject you care to name (just ask her!!!) and she was mis-explaining to me (I have only played golf for nearly 50 years) how the embedded ball rule works, when DeChambeau lost his tee shot, told me Tiger had won 7 or 8 green jackets (another wrong, but of course would not listen to me), thought all the "private homes" on the grounds at Augusta were just fabulous (those aren't private homes) and so on until I was about to cry (or go postal, one or the other)

Oh yeah. It usually goes: "What's his name?" "HEEERRRR NAME is DAISY!!" My bad for not looking at your dogs genitals.

The second one happens all the time, because my dude is a cute Corgi. People don't realize he's a herding dog, because he is so small. He doesn't trust new people, and placing the back of your hand to his face is not an actual thing. Most dogs see that as a threat.

dang. I've always had a boy dog and never cared if someone called him a girl.

and I always ask if I can pet someone's dog. First I don't want to get bit. Second as you said some dogs don't trust. Shoot I have a friend with a pit bull. When people come over he takes the dog out to introduce them because if they walk into the house before the introduction the dog gets upset.

Your friend is a good dog owner. It's a shame pit bulls have been demonized. They are good dogs, but also the most lethal. No such thing as a pit bull mishap; it's usually catastrophic. I wish the "fighting" breeds had some sort of screening method to put them with experienced owners.

Unfortunately, most pit bulls fall into the hands of trashy people that, at best, don't know how to handle, and at worst, encourage aggressiveness. I don't want to breed them out of existence, but wish they (and similar breeds) were regulated to an extent.

People who are too neighborly in traffic and let a bunch of people go ahead of them. Went through construction the other day and the car in front of me let out 3 to 6 cars per side street. The law should be 1 and go.
