Back in the day, I would go to Champs and go skating every single Friday. Half of it was strobe lights that never bothered me. If I see a strobe light now and didn't close my eyes within 3 seconds, I'm pretty sure I would vomit everywhere. Anything similar for you?

I sure can’t eat 10 Fazoli’s breadsticks in one sitting anymore.
I took my daughter to Fazzoli’s the other day. They brought us 2 breadsticks a piece. We ate them. They asked if we wanted more. I said sure. They gave us 1 more each. Then something strange happened... They ask if I wanted more... and I said no.

As of ~2 weeks ago, I can relate to this.

Dairy. I used to drink milk like it was going out of style. Now, milk or ice cream wrecks me. Suddenly about age 25-30 it was like nah, my body doesn’t like that anymore. Probably haven’t drank a glass of milk in 5-7 years. Miss that stuff

After I got to my late 30s I started developing some claustrophobia.

I get really uncomfortable on any amusement park rides that have the bars that pull over your shoulders and press against your chest.

I try to avoid them now, because the ride attendants tend to walk by and push them a click more tightly than I want and I always think, “What if I get stuck on this ride?” and my chest gets tight and I begin to worry that I will have a heart attack if I don’t get free in less than a few minutes.

I went to Chipotle once and couldn't finish my burrito. I just sat there and had a "what the hell happened?" moment.

My wife makes a great chicken pot pie.

In 2005, we had an extended family vacation. We had some nasty virus spread through the “compound” and many of us (including me) vomited and had diarrhea for two straight days.

One of the meals I unloaded was her chicken pot pie.

The next time she made it, I just looked at it and shook my head. Haven’t had it since.

One of my co-workers who describes himself as a “prepper”. Every single day (Monday through Friday) China, Russia, food storage, the vaccine, and an oncoming invasion/EMP attack is mentioned at least once.

Feel sorry for the guy but Christ, one annoying MFer.

If there ain’t Kentucky basketball who gives a **** about surviving an apocalypse?

This. Never used to bother me. After a freak accident where I disabled myself for nearly a year, I freak out at heights. It’s weird.

Mine came from a hotel. I've been on roller coasters, the Sears tower, the empire state building, in planes, bunjee jumping, etc...

Then one day a friend and I went to Indy. We stayed at a hotel with 17 stories and we asked to stay at the top floor. It was an atrium style hotel so I walked over and looked down. And realized that the guard rail didn't even come to my waist. After that I just can't do it. I saw Spiderman: homecoming in the theater and that scene on the Washington Monument made me numb. There is a game called Last of us 2. Theres a part when you have to walk between skyscrapers. I almost had an anxiety attack. Playing a damn video game.

I can't even look at ladders.

Know the feeling. And it hit suddenly. Wife and I went to Natural Bridge State Park last fall. I couldn’t wait to get home. The Bridge and skylift did me in.

Sugar before 2pm = Nausea until dinner.
I can't do donuts, cinnamon rolls, danish, etc in the morning without unholy stomach cramps. I now know why my grandparents ate oatmeal.
Roller coasters. Used to love them..now get the worst headaches
Went to Disney a couple of years ago and got on Mission Space. It's in a building and messed me up so bad I had to sit for about a half hour, just to get where I could start walking around again. I'm not doing so much as bumper cars from now on.

Cheap kegged macrobrew.. In college, my four housemates and I would chip in $5 each for a keg of Milwaukee's Best every weekend. We had an old refrigerator that had no shelves and was just for kegs. After the bars closed, a bunch of friends would come to our place for after hours beer and music. Those were good times but I can't stand the smell of cheap beer anymore let alone drink it.

Getting drunk - In my youth I could polish off a fifth in one night and be able to maintain. Now, if I have three or more drinks I wind up piss drunk and hungover for 2 days

Roller coasters - I lived for these as a child. Starting in my late 20s, coasters started being physically painful and making me sick. Haven’t ridden one in 12+ years.

Low end fast food - The cheapest of the cheap results in stomach cramps/the ***** nearly every time I eat it.

Far Right Wing Politics

FIFY, but the first thing I thought of as well. I have pretty much not watched Fox, CNN, MSNBC or any other cable news network since January 21, and avoid politics on FB and other social media, and have to say my blood pressure thanks me. I get all the news I need reading the newspaper(s) in the AM, and make my own decisions thereafter.

You fixed it for yourself, not for me. I purposely did not specify left or right. Both sides make me ill.

Things sure seemed a lot more cordial and professional 15 or 20 years ago between those who disagreed, the animosity in Washington DC, and even in Frankfort, is disturbing and not a good trend long term for the average Joe/Jane.

Got injured on a ride as a kid and pretty much don't go near them. No desire. Unless I'm in control, I'm not doing it.

Yep. It’s tribalism at its finest. Both teams are like cults and any aspersions cast upon one, are usually true for the other.

Blanket statements such as “all cons are racist white nationalists” and “all libs are godless commies” are signs of room temp IQ.

when I was 14 I went to Kings Island with my mom, aunt, and a cousin. On the way up the hill on one of the log rides everything froze. We just sat there for about 30 minutes waiting. I had to hold myself up the whole time because I was in front and would squish my family. I thought the whole thing was funny. When an employee came up to get us I yelled out "We are suing!" and my mom did not find that funny at all and smacked me in the back of the head

I don't like waiting in lines, and feeling the pressure to not **** the whole flow for the people behind me. Grocery lines sometimes get me with this, but buffet lines, gov't service queues, etc.

All of the things that are delicious and bad for you. Glad I enjoyed them when I was young but it’s brutal.
