Hard to believe that a school would be that classless. Time to take them out behind the wood shed and open up a can of you know what on them.

This was started in the late 80's by coach Ford. FSU does a similar thing which they call sod games. It's mainly done when it's a significant win over a top 25 team on the road. Or just a big kind of win. Consider it respect. It means they feel like they beat a good team. There are lots of gravestones beside the practice fields just like this representing big wins. OU's isn't the only one by no means. It's like a trophy, a way of showing an accomplishment. Not to be disrespectful at all.

Who needs a headstone...put "Clemson Conquest" in an unmarked John Doe grave after we steamroll them. I will be sure to leave flowers next to it.

I don't think Bob will use it at all.

If you need extra incentive to play in the national semifinals, then you are playing the wrong sport. Coaches have a harder job in this, and that's not being ready to play on December 20th. I think we have just under four weeks until the game. The players and the player leadership will notice. But this is about the details of game planning and execution.

The extraneous stuff is just a distraction.

Bob, assistants, strength trainer, waterboy, players, whoever. The point is, I'm sure it will come up as a little added motivation. Everyone knows this stuff is used to fuel the fire.

On second thought, I would think the remarks during last year's game by Clemson players telling their coaches that "they (OU) don't want to be here" would serve a better purpose.....especially since the remarks were valid.
OU's players have a lot to prove in the upcoming Orange Bowl......to themselves, the OU fans and Clemson.
