Thinking About Recruiting Losses

Not to bring up bad memories, but given our current staff (Hinshaw and Gran) additions, how do you all feel we would've ended certain recruiting battles?

Gran has put 15 guys in the NFL. Do you feel like having him last recruiting period would've shifted the odds in our favor or at least given the RB who chose Bama (I legitimately cannot remember his name) a reason to give us a harder look?

Any other battles you feel like we could've come out victorious in? The RB one is the one I thought about most.

Nah, I'm not sad at all. I'm really legitimately curious how Gran would've affected recruitment. In a way, it is indeed looking towards the future. [winking]

We will see how well Gran and Hinshaw recruit at Kentucky. I don't know if they will help or not. But I think Dawson proved to be a weak recruiter.

The only guy that has already come here that Dawson recruited is King so its something. Other than that nothing to brag about is getting Mac Jones on board and he seems to want to play under Gran.

Gran and Hinshaw are superior recruiters to Dawson and Mainord. Dawson was almost irrelevant on the recruiting trail.

Dawson landed King. And Hoak wanted to play for him. I am sure Snell and Rose both were good with him, as well.

He is gone.
