This guy is ethnic Nigerian. He is from the Yaruba tribe. I've spent many years in Nigeria and know the cultures very well. I will venture to say this guy comes from a very good family. Strong values and strong family network. Yaruba, traditionally represents the "learned" category of Nigeria. Doctors, lawyers, professors, etc. They place a high value on education and invest time and effort. Kinda like the tortoise that raced the hare. He will be an attribute to our team.
HIs brother plays for Northwestern, who was the other primary school in his decision. You can pretty much know that the family values education.
Bu bu but all the tripe I read from the Hawkeye board is how the b1g is oh so superior than the XII or sec sec in academics
