And especially Lowe. Coming back like he did. And JQ. A beast.
I know Pope said he's been tough in practice. Props to him. It seems to have worked. The loafing we saw in Nashville and against Michgian state. Seems to be gone. We actually look like we GAF.
I'm shocked JQ was this good so quickly. Thought he would need more time.
JQ may be this teamms savior. He was amazing. Lowe as well.

JQ changed the entire team and it’s something we’ve worked for a while. But Kentucky still has so many problems, I want to see what’s going to happen with the recruiting classes and JMI. If we can’t recruit the best we cant be the best. For now this at least gives us hope we can return to Kentucky. But it’s time to hang banners now, like right now.
Was definitely happy to see the smile on the face of Oweh. Ya know he’s one that if we can get him to play to the 5th gear it will open a lot of for the team too.
Something I was saying during the game is what goes through Pitino’s head playing UK. He’s done it all, won titles, coached a blue blood, the Celtics, NBA playoffs, been considered a goat.
But damn if he can’t beat Kentucky. lol. Just can’t do it. I’d love to see what’s his thoughts were when he came back and went to UL, vs. now at this age regarding Kentucky and what he was going to be able to do.

They are a much better team when everyone is playing together after all the injuries. I think they can improve more as they continued to get experience together on the floor.
Kam Williams deserves a lot of credit too. Played great defense, stayed tough, made shots, and FTs.
Pope has to change his recruiting strategy. JQ may very well save his job this year but he’s got to put two and two together and realize that elite players, even just a couple can make or break your season.
Stop refusing to go into bidding wars and put your foot down regarding the JMI crap.
I love the Fight! The key is for us to stay healthy! How JQ played today was absolutely Amazing!
If we’d played hard like this all season we would still be top 15.
