Louisville has nothing to play for! I know it's a rivalry game but to go from possible final four to getting your *** kicked on national tv will be a huge emotional let down for this team!

Yeah, it could go either way.

Transfer ;U is even getting the backward bounce on punts now. Big sack on Jackson, but down to 5thy and four., and Jackson gets the first. Need a stop here to stop momentum.

I see the oposite. They are gonna pissed they got embarrassed and be looking to run it up on us in a rivalry game against an SEC team. We better bring it, or Petrino will try and make Stoops look foolish

Yes I don't see this benefiting us. They more than likely will come out pissed off and fired up ready to take out their frustrations on us. Rather the possibility of being extremely nervous with a possible playoff birth on the line.

I don't think this game will have any impact. We cant take advantage of the flaws Houston showed us since we don't have a Defensive as good and fast especially the DL and LB's as Houston and we don't have a passing game as good as Houston.

Best case for us the Louisville team starts fighting itself. Worst case they double down to prove they don't suck. Or nothing and its just another game.

Some of you all sound like the politicians that are afraid of making the terrorists mad. Grow a pair!

Tonight's loss certainly doesn't hurt our chances. I wasn't looking forward to playing a bubble playoff team that needed to really put on a show in order to make a final statement before the selection committee made their decision. However, you would have expected a UL team tonight that was focused and ready to make a statement, but they never got off the bus.

Regardless, I don't see us getting a win next week. If tonight mattered at all though, I think it helps more than hurts. In the minds of many of their fans/players, tonight felt like a season-ender.

UofL will kill us...our defense is awful. We are so slow...Jackson will score at will. Plus even if Stoops had UofH defense he wouldn't pressure like Herman. Stoops is a very conservative Coach

Jackson is better than Hobbs and UK made Hobbs look like the leading Heisman Candidate....So since Jackson was already the leading candidate he could lock it up against UK.

Exactly my first thought when I saw the thread title. They will be wanting to take out their frustration for last night on us next week. I don't see them coming in to this game without any motivation, just the opposite. They will want to destroy us.

Well.....I guess we are just going to have to come in pissed off and wanting to destroy them, now won't we?

We should be able to run the football on them. Hopefully to keep Jackson off the field limiting his touches. Bobby, will have them ready to play football and It could be a long day after how bad U of L played last night.

An unreasonable expectation equates to growing a pair? Know how and when to use the pair you have, or you may just lose them.

UL's run defense, I believe, is rated top 3-5. Our success at stopping running QBs is bottom 3-5. Sounds like an ugly recipe.
