….in the last 12 years. I’m starting to wonder if we’ll finish with a winning record. Still have Gonzaga, Indiana, and St. John’s before conference play. So, with 18 conference games, and the aforementioned games before then, that’s 21 games left against teams with a pulse. So, far, we’re 0-3.

Only 2 cupcakes left. So, 23 games total left. 2 sure cupcake wins. What’s our record in the 21 games against real teams? 9-12?

The team we have seen so far this season is a tournament team, a National Invitation Tournament (NIT) team!

The team that played last night is a day 1 or 2 out at the SEC Tournament.

This team isn’t dancing this season!

Gonzaga- L Few will lay the hammer this time around.
St. John’s- L, Pope will lose this game on purpose so he doesn’t take his former coach’s heart.
Indiana-L It’s only fitting that Pope screws that one up for the home crowd.
Alabama- Oats will clown suit the Cats in Tuscaloosa.

I’ll stop there.

The fact is that collectively, UK doesn't know how to run the basketball program anymore. Its been that way for a decade now.
We always seem to be the only major program that is constantly having to "figure things out" through most of the season. I do realize that not every year is going to be a juggernaut team, but all the other major programs have had at least one season or more in the last 10 years where they were good all season, but for some reason we're the exception.
We've either been "young", not enough "dogs", not enough shooters, bigs, or physicality, or too many injuries. I know you can't help injuries, but we always seem to lose a big piece to an injury and then are left shorthanded at that position, but then the next season we don't seem to learn from our mistakes and it happens again.
NIL completely changes the game too. You no longer have to rebuild with just freshmen. Pat Kelsey is only in his second season, and Louisville looked way more polished this early in the season than any team we've had after the 2014-2015 Season.

It all comes down to coaching. We've had dogshit coaches on the sideline since 2020! Facts.

If we lose at home to Indiana, I’ll probably give up watching team sports all together.

Stick with golf and horse racing.
